Gutter Cleaning in Ayrshire
We offer professional gutter cleaning in Ayr, Prestwick and surrounding areas of Ayrshire. Our dedicated equipment can reach all types of properties from bungalows to estate houses.
Over time, gutters can become contaminated with dirt, debris and organic growth which causes them to stop functioning correctly. Below are some examples of the issues faced from contaminated gutters –
- Water overflowing (causing damage to walls / ground and increasing organic growth in damp spots.)
- Broken / fallen pieces (in some cases, the weight of the trapped water can cause the entire gutter to fail, resulting in it breaking or falling from the roof.)
- Increased organic growth (dirt and sediment left over time will inevitably encourage organic growth such as moss and other plants to grow.)
- Blocked downpipes (in some cases, a large enough blockage can shift and become stuck further down the system in less accessible areas.)
We perform all gutter clearing by hand and always perform a visual inspection. Telescopic poles are used for cleaning gutters in less accessible areas. All rubbish and debris from gutters is removed and dispossed of correctly.
Our gutter cleaning service also includes clipping any loose joints back into place, tightening loose parts and repositioning.
uPVC gutters are not designed for repair, so if they are broken, or have ineffectual parts, they should be replaced or re-installed. We can source, order and replace gutter parts at additional cost.
We pride ourselves on our ability to clean all gutters efficiently and safely. As well as clearing the inside of the gutter, we also offer exterior gutter cleaning as well as a full UPVC restoration service. More information on UPVC restoration can be found here.
